I found this great poem and wanted to share it. When I copied and pasted it the line breaks didn't happen in the right spots, anway it's still good!
The World's Reward
All to Your glory, Lord,Nothing of me,Shape me, mold me,Make me beLoving, obeying, exclusively,The One True God,The One True Vine,Remaining in You, always mine.Father, Son, and Spirit come;Jesus, thank you--all is done.Upon the cross my heart was won.Holy Savior, let us go Together telling all we know;Comforting, loving, gentle Lord,To tell of You I am called--Messiah! Jesus! The World's Reward.Into the world I must go,Not to be tossed to and fro,But standing firm, Your peace I know.Assured, confirmed, we are one;Intertwined with God's own Son,Finishing work You've given to do,Bringing glory on earth to You...Yesterday, today and forever true. You are my Lord; I worship You.

Now what?
Okay so you've admitted that you are a sinner and accepted Christ's gift of salvation through his death on the cross and resurrection. Now what?
Romans 12:2 "Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the the renewing of you mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is - his good, pleasing and perfect will."
Start there-what in my past life do I need to give to God? What do I need to STOP doing right now that is not pleasing. What do I need to start doing?
Read the Bible daily- A good place to start is the New Testament. Matthew, Mark, Luke and John are books about Christ. Acts talks about the first church and the Holy Spirit. Romans is called the "Gospel of God" in my Bible. 1 Corinthians is about Christian conduct. 2 Corinthians talks of Paul's ministry. Galatians theme is slavation by Grace. Ephesians is about the church which is referred to as Christ's body(we are his hands and feet here to do his work until his return). Philippians is about the Christian experience. Colossians is more about living in Christ. Thessalonians is about Christ's return, Timothy deals with the functions of the church and holding to the truth (Christ alone). Titus more on church oder. Philemon is a letter from Paul during his imprisonment. Hebrews is about Christ's superiority and how awesome he really is (I love this book!!!!) James more on Christian living. The books of Peter talk of the The Christian life of service and the coming of Christ. 1-3 John the fellowship, and walking in the truth of Christ. Jude's theme is contending for the faith and watching out for false teachings. Revelation concludes the Bible but is only the beginning after the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ!
That was alot but many of the books are short! If you want to talk about what you are reading please post a message!
Each day spend time alone with God, just telling him what is going on in your life and asking him what he wants you to do today. You will feel his leading!!!

Are you ready?
1. Do you have a spiritual belief?
2. Who is Jesus Christ?
3. What do you believe about heaven and hell?
4. If you died right now, what would happen, where would you go?
5. If what you believe is not truth wouldn't you want someone to tell you- and share the truth with you?
Take out a Bible and find
1. Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned..."
2. Romans 6:23 "The wages of sin is death"
3. John 3:3 "You must be born again"
4. John 14:6 "I am the way..."
5. Romans 10:9-10 "If you confess...you will be saved"
6. 2 Corinthians 5:15 "No longer live for themselves"
7. Revelation 3:20 "I stand at the door and knock"
Are you a sinner?
Do you want forgiveness of your sins?
Do you believe that Jesus died on the cross for you and rose again?
Are you willing to give your life to Jesus Christ and begin to make changes for Him?
Are you ready to invite Jesus into your life and receive His payment for your sins?
If so, pray...
Jesus, I admit that I am a sinner. I want to accept your payment for my sins. I believe you died on the cross to pay for my sins and that you rose again and that you are living today. I want to be in heaven with you. In Jesus name, Amen.

up all night
It has been awhile since I posted and things have been very busy!!!! The youth group had an overnight get together/party and I helped out. So, by choice I stayed up all night. I could definietly tell how old I am! We started out the night skating. I skated the whole time and had a great time. I love skating. Then we went bowling but the adults didn't get to bowl becasue we had 20 youth and only 3 lanes. I wanted to bowl so we will have to go back sometime when I can bowl!!!! Then we went to another youth leaders house and had a bonfire, snacks and great music.
We finally made it back to the church at about 2:15 am and had a Bible study about slaves and masters. My master is my creator, sustainer and lifter of my head- not sin!!! Praise God!!! Then we proceeded with some fun games and alot of silly behavior! I had so much fun. I was exhausted the next day but it was worth it!
I am so glad that God prompted Daryl and I to be involved with the youth. I pray that everyone in 2009 will be looking for where they fit in to God's plan and get busy!
